Car rental site CarRentalMemphis has had a hard time attracting a steady user base, despite a large and active online community.
While CarRrentalsMemphis users are able to book a new car online, they can only use up to 2,500 spaces in the month, which is far lower than what the industry standard of 8,500.
Users have also complained that they can’t cancel a booking, and the website has had to temporarily suspend some services for non-payment issues.
CarRrentsMemphis user Sam wrote: “It’s pretty obvious the site has a low quality of service, especially in regards to booking.
When I called, they told me that I needed to be paid before I could book, which was not true at all.
“So if I cancel my car booking and then cancel again later, the website will still not refund the amount I paid. “

Another user, Daniel, wrote: ‘If they would just let users cancel their car booking in full, it would be much better than the current state of affairs.
I’ve had three car reservations since January that have been cancelled and then they say it’s due to payment issues.’
In January, the company announced a plan to introduce a ‘cashless’ system that would allow users to cancel car reservations.
However, the move has been met with mixed reviews on the site.
Users say the new system is too slow and that it is not always possible to cancel the booking, despite CarRleaseMemphis providing information on the cancellation process.
‘We need to improve our system, but we can’t do it without a change in the way we work with the users,’ said a CarR rental specialist, who asked not to be named.
‘This is just the tip of the iceberg.
‘The more we try to improve the system, the more users complain that we are failing to help them make the booking.
“I don’t think we can change how our users are treated, but at least we need to work harder at it.’
A spokesperson for CarR Rentals said: ‘We have seen a surge in demand for our car rental services, which has caused us to offer some discounts.
However the majority of users are willing to pay the extra fee to book their car, and that means we can only offer the minimum amount of space.’
