A luxury car is a must-have for most Miami residents, but for the lucky few who live in the city’s trendy West Beach neighborhood, they can’t always be found in the rental car business.
Here are six places you can save money when it comes to car rental in Miami.
Car rental company CarMax, which was acquired by Toyota Motor Corp in July 2017, has partnered with the Miami Heat franchisee, NBA Miami Heat, to offer rental cars for Miami Heat fans.
The cars feature custom-made exterior and interior trim, and are equipped with air conditioning, air conditioning system, a built-in Bluetooth audio system, and Bluetooth connectivity.
The service also allows fans to rent out their vehicles for parties, birthday parties, and other special events.
The new cars are available for $1,995 per month, which is a substantial price hike compared to the $1.5 million price tag the team paid for the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren GT500 and the McLaren F1, which the Miami team used to race during the 2014 World Series.
The new car rental service will be available at Miami Heat venues, such as the team’s Toyota Center arena, and at other locations throughout the city.

Miami Heat basketball coach Erik Spoelstra told the Miami Herald that he and his team will be using the new car rentals for “fun and to see the team on the court.”
Carmax also announced that they will be launching an online app for rental cars in Miami in the coming months.
The app, called CarRental Miami, will allow fans to browse through their personal fleet and compare prices based on the weather conditions and time of day.
The app is also available on Apple iOS and Android devices.
